Step down into the front room where you will be greeted by the romantic canopy bed draped in sheer panels and sitting high enough to sit even with the window sills,
Crossing into the adjoining room will bring you face to face with the queen bed back dropped with a yellow and gold padded square wall. On the southern side of the room stands the elegant antique full brass bed. Your choice will be difficult on which bed to choose but rest assured that all 3 beds will give you a most restful and comfortable nights sleep.
Before retiring for the night, relax and soak your stress away in the romantic corner Jacuzzi tub. Use the unique basin sink sitting atop an antique Birdseye maple chest and get a glimpse of what it might have been like to use a pitcher and bowl iin 1860.
With two satellite TV's there will be no disagreement over which TV program to watch! A garden view on both sides of the house can be enjoyed by looking out of one or all of the 20 windows in both rooms of the suite. This is the perfect place to spend a weekend getaway and experience the hotel alternative!

The Battle of Antietam in Sharpsburg, Maryland was the first major conflict won by the Union in the Civil War. Even though Lee was outnumbered by two to one, he was determined to advance the armies into the North.
This battle saw the largest single loss of life, ever, in one day as 7000 soldiers were killed and 17,000 were wounded.
It led to Lincoln's announcement of the Emancipation Proclamation and stopped Lee's invasion into the North.
