Bed and Breakfast
The common areas of Hallauer House Bed & Breakfast in Oberlin, Ohio are located on the first floor of the house. Guests enter through the front private entrance. The Music Room and Dining Room, separated by a central hallway, are original to 1830 with the wormy chestnut floors and the painted woodwork still in excellent condition. Each room has four large windows that allow a view of the gardens and open wide for summer breezes. Enjoy the antiques, old books, chess, and a variety of board games.
The Spa is open to guests and is located toward the back of the house. From the accessories, to the bird cages, to the black lacquer inlaid chest pieces, to the original handmade Tatami doors, this room is identified with the Asian influence. It was added in 1998 and has become one of our most popular areas! In the words of one guest - "The Asian Spa is awesome!"
