Hallauer House Bed& Breakfast
is located in the country on 3 acres just 3 miles south of Tappan Square, which is the center of Oberlin, Ohio and Oberlin College.
Whether you are traveling east or west you will find us just 15 minutes from the Ohio Turnpike ( I 80), US Rt. 20 and I 480, or I 90/ Rt 2.
We are centrally located close to Amherst, Lorain, Elyria, Grafton, Wellington, Wakeman, Vermilion, New London, Avon, Avon Lake, North Ridgeville, Spencer, and North Olmstead.
We are the Hotel Alternative for Overnight Accommodations and Lodging!

Traveling from the SOUTH on State Rt. 58

Take State Rt. 58 North
-
Go through Wellington and continue north to Oberlin

Hallauer Rd is off of Rt. 58 about 8 miles from the northern city limit sign

Turn RIGHT at the Hallauer Rd sign

There is a small cemetery on the right

Go about 3 miles, cross 3 intersections

Hallauer House is on the RIGHT side of the road with white sign and red wagon in front yard.

There is a big red barn and log cabin style house next door just before our drive.
From I-480 EAST & CLEVELAND AIRPORT

From Airport-Follow signs to I 480 WEST

I 480 ends and becomes US Rt 10/20

Follow the sign to Oberlin

Go to the 5th exit - Rt. 511 Oberlin

At the 4 way stop sign at end of ramp turn LEFT
-
Go on Oberlin Elyria Rd. to next stop sign-1 mile

Turn LEFT onto Parsons Rd.

At the next road after the overpass turn RIGHT onto Hallauer Rd.

Go 1 1/2 miles and at the top of the small hill the Hallauer House driveway will be on the LEFT with the white sign and red wagon in the front yard.
Traveling from the NORTH - I 90 - Rt. 2

Take St. Rt. 58 exit to Oberlin

Go SOUTH on Rt. 58
-
At first traffic light in Oberlin - turn LEFT onto Lorain St.

Go 2 blocks and turn RIGHT onto Park St.

When Park St. dead ends turn LEFT onto Grafton St. which becomes Parsons Rd.

Stay on Parsons and go across the highway overpass

Immediately turn RIGHT onto Hallauer Rd.

Go 1 1/2 miles

When you come up the small hill, Hallauer House will be on the LEFT side of the road with white sign and red wagon in yard
ALTERNATIVE RT. from NORTH - I 90
and from OBERLIN

Go SOUTH on St. Rt. 58 through Oberlin (Tappan Square Park will be on your right when traveling South)

Continue south through Oberlin to traffic light at
US Rt. 20 (Pizza Hut will be on your right at light) -
Continue south for 1 more mile past traffic light to Hughes Rd. and turn LEFT onto Hughes

Go to next stop sign and turn LEFT on Hallauer Rd.

Go 1 mile - Hallauer House is on the RIGHT side of the road with white sign and red wagon in the front.
Traveling from WEST off I- 80 Turnpike
- Exit at Vermilion - Baumhart Rd.
- At traffic light off exit - turn RIGHT. onto Baumhart Rd
- Go south about 8 miles to US Rt. 20
- Turn LEFT onto Rt. 20. Go 3 miles
- Turn RIGHT at traffic light at Pizza Hut onto Rt. 58
- Go 1 mile south on Rt. 58 to Hughes Rd.
- Turn LEFT onto Hughes Rd.
- Go 1/2 mile to next stop sign
- Turn LEFT onto Hallauer Rd
- Hallauer House is 1 mile on RIGHT side of road. White house with white sign and red wagon in front.
Follow any of the yellow-green roads to arrive at Hallauer House B & B!
