Each of the three guest rooms at the Hallauer House Bed & Breakfast in Oberlin, Ohio are named after the divisions in the United States during the era of the Civil War. The Confederate Room overlooks the southern side of the house while the Union Room is on the northern side. To the back of the house is the Mason/Dixon Suite which overlooks both the northern and southern sides of the house with a view out of 20 windows. But all the rooms are distinctively appointed with antiques and modern comforts to reflect the elegance and charm of the era and to bring the past into the present.

POLICIESChildren: Because of the pool, ponds, antiques, & swords we can only accommodate children over age 13. Children staying at Hallauer House must be supervised at all times, both inside and outside the house.
Pets: We cannot accommodate pets as many guests have pet allergies. There is a very good boarding kennel just 1/2 mile down the road.

Smoking: Hallauer House is a SMOKE FREE facility as is all of the State of Ohio. Smoking is not allowed in any public building including all restaurants, bars, hotels, & offices.
